Serious stuff!
Readers of SuSu will know what happened to me–the rich folks in Talkeetna got a boro ordinance passed against the will of the people, banning street peddlers from Talkeetna. Thing is, I was the only one. This raises many pertinent issues about rights, democracy, and so forth.

I warned them to expect email from all over the world. No point in talking to the pols, they only care about big rich business guys, not little old dudes who are struggling to support a family.

There is injustice and/or callousness everywhere. Money rules. No doubt this was in Christ’s mind when He said: My kingdom is not of this world. And yet there is much beauty in this world, as we all know. I hope you find a solution, or maybe can set up somewhere just outside their jurisdiction. I will send an Email telling whoever that it looks like Alaska is becoming as oppressive as anywhere in the lower 48s, and gathering even pettier politicians.
Whatever are these clerical lawmakers doing there in a place like Alaska in the first place? They should be living in a big city where they can do the devil’s work more effectively, but they probably couldn’t wangle a position of authority anywhere where there was more competition and less isolated favoritism.
Something may turn up. I hope it does. Maybe they can be talked into giving out special permits. After all, precedence should stand for something, if consideration means anything at all. Ah, but does it? Good luck to you.
The rich get richer and the poor get the shit kicked out of them. I don’t think it’s fair what happened to you and hope you will be able to do something about it. Also wanted to ask you how long have you lived in Alaska? Besides your current problem, how is life there? My mom has always wanted to move there and one day if she gets her wish she probably will.
