A Feline Milestone
The kittens, up until now, had not ventured out of my cabin. I made no effort to keep them in, they just were not interested. That changed yesterday. They were getting so rambuctious–Dingus knocked over the suit of armor in the great hall, and Pinky scratched the screen of the projection television in the media center–that I lost patience, and booted their furry butts out onto the porch for a time-out. They didn’t like it, so I relented and left them back in.
However, the next time Silky ( the momcat) wanted out, they wanted to go with her. Finally Hohner got into the act, and now all three kittens have had a taste of the great outdoors. It’s funny–Pinky tends to zoom in and out, Dingus likes to stand in the doorway, and Hohner gets anxious when the other three are outside. Three distinct personalities.
I am looking forward to warm weather when they can spend more time outside, and also do more pooping outside. Four cats in one little cabin makes for a litterbox that needs cleaning twice a day. Three times, when I use it myself.

Aww – they are adventurous little kittens! Make sure they stay away from any wild animals. I had a cat who was bitten by a racoon – she got rabies!
